Hanyu Pinyin is an essential tool for learning Chinese. The use of Hanyu Pinyin not only helps children in the learning of oracy skills but also aids in character recognition and reading. Primary 1 students are required to learn Hanyu Pinyin in their first semester in school, yet many 6 to 7 year-olds struggle to master it and perhaps some parents too, who find learning all the rules of Hanyu Pinyin and its four tones too daunting.

Pin Le is a set of Hanyu Pinyin game cards developed for Primary 1 and 2 students based on the latest MOE Chinese Language Curriculum. Each box of game cards set includes includes 46 Initials(Shengmu) cards, 54 Finals (Yunmu) cards and 40 Tone (Shengdiao) cards neatly organised and stored in a compartmentalized game box.
Each card is colour-coded to differentiate and understand the components of Hanyu Pinyin, the way it is taught in school. Appropriately sized for young children to hold comfortably in their hands, children will enjoy matching the Initials and Finals to form valid Hanyu Pinyin syllables, gradually becoming familiar with these syllables. Pin Le can also be used with the Zibaobao Flash Cards to form and read out the Hanyu Pinyin of the character flash card.
